Air France New glasses on board

There's a new piece of Air France tableware on board. A few days ago, a new wine and champagne glass was introduced in the La Première and Affaires cabins on long-haul flights.

These unique glasses, specially created for Air France in collaboration with Olivier Poussier, World's Best Sommelier and Air France wine advisor, are based on special wine-tasting glasses. Two other new glasses have been introduced, a larger glass for water and non-alcoholic drinks and a smaller glass for liqueurs.

Every two months, Air France changes its wine list. It is currently serving passengers in the La Première and Affaires cabins vintage wines such as the Château Gruaud Larose 2004 (2nd Saint-Julien grand cru classé), the Château Suduiraut 1996 (first Sauternes grand cru classé) and the Nuits-Saint-Georges 2005 for lovers of Bourgogne.

Every year, Air France serves 870,000 bottles of wine in the La Première and Affaires cabins and close to a million bottles of Champagne in all cabin classes.
