There are two ways you can add your contacts:

  2. We also provide access to importing your contacts from popular email clients and services.

11. I have already received one invite, why am I getting more than one?

There are many people who invite others to join Hospitality Leaders daily.

One possibility is that more than one person that you know is a Hospitality Leaders member.

12. Why did I receive an email reminding me to accept an invite?

This is a simple reminder for the invitation that you have recently received from someone you know.

Please click on the link at the very bottom of the message to accept the invitation.

13. How do I find out who I sent invites to?

On your home page under the inbox tab, click the My Contacts link and scroll down.

The page will show you who you are connected to and who you are pending connection with.

14. How do I finish my profile?

To start utilizing Hospitality Leaders it would be beneficial for you to finish your profile.

Start with just text and then upload an image.

15. What are leads?

Leads are a tool that Hospitality Leaders provides which automates the networking of our members.

This is based on the information entered by all users in the “who I am looking for section” of your profile.

Our system automatically matches your keywords with other members’ keywords.

Hospitality Leaders will automatically send you message when a match is found. (back to top)

16. How do I change my password?

On the top left corner of the web site you will find "settings".

Click on it, and you will automatically be forwarded to a page where you can change your password. (back to top)

17. How do I change my email?

On the top left corner of the web site you will find "settings".

Click on it, and you will automatically be forwarded to a page where you can change your primary email.

This is the email address is used to log in. You can add an alternative email address in your profile. (edit profile)

18. Can anyone see my personal information?

Hospitality Leaders takes our member's privacy very seriously. Hospitality Leaders will not share your information with 3rd parties for marketing.

Hospitality Leaders has also taken great measures to ensure your public profile does not contain personal contact information.

It is entirely up to you to share your personal information with who you wish.

If you choose to disclose your private contact information, Hospitality Leaders claims no responsibility for how your information is used by the entity to whom you have given your information. (back to top)

19. How can I increase my profile visits?

The easiest way to increase visits to your profile is to invite and refer your connections.

Each time you invite or refer a connection you are given a "referral point".

The member with the most points is always displayed at the top of the page of their business category as the "top networker".

The more connections you have in your network the better the chances of new opportunities coming your way.

20. How do I update my Blog?

In order to update your blog, please go to the Profile section in the top navigation tool bar.

Click “Blog” on the drop down menu. From there, you will be able to write a blog.

21. How do I upload a photo?

Please go to the Profile section in the top navigation tool bar.

Click “update my image” on the drop down menu.

You will see a browse button.

Click on the browse button and search for your photos/images you want to upload.

Click on the photo that you would like to appear on your profile. Currently there is a size restriction of 128kb for photos.

The size of the photo has to do with the kb size not the actual sizing of the picture.

22. How do I block a User?

To block a user from contacting you click the "block" button located on the left navigation when viewing a profile.

This will block further communication from this user. (back to top)

23.What are Recommendations?

Recommendations are a way for people to leave a great compliment to you on your profile page.

Your personal contacts can leave recommendations about you and you are able to recommend them others as well.

It is a great way to sell yourself and your services.

24. What if I don’t like a recommendation that someone gave me?

If you do not like a recommendation that someone gave or you do not want any recommendations, what is posted on your profile page is entirely up to you. 

You do have the option of deleting it when a new recommendation that is sent to you. (back to top)

25. What are referrals?

Referrals are a tool that members can use to help refer other member.

For an example, a contact of yours is looking for a person who specializes in event planning.

You have a friend that is great in this area. You can refer that event planner, to the person who is looking for. (back to top)

26. How to I adjust the range for where I receive leads from?

The setting for the range of where you receive your leads is located in your profile set up.

You can edit this information by clicking on the edit icon that is located directly below your picture on your member home page.

Once in the edit profile area click on the “Contact Settings” tab.

This is where you can edit the messages and communication you receive.

The first section is for the range of where you receive your leads from.

27. How do I search for clients?

Click the Search link in the top Navigation bar.

There is a keywords field, name field, title field, and company field.

Type in a keyword, name, title, or company you are looking for members in.

Once you click search, you will be shown a list of Hospitality Leaders members that display the information you are looking for.

28. How do I post an Event?

To post an event, roll over your mouse to the Event link at the top navigation tool bar.

Click on “post an event” Fill out the appropriate fields and click on 'Preview' the event.

29. I am interested in attending an event posted, what do I do?

Please click on the RSPV NOW link in the top right hand corner.

This will let the event organizer know that you are interested in coming. (back to top)

30. What is an event discussion?

After people have attending an event that was posted on Hospitality Leaders.

Connect users are allowed to discuss the event that they have just previously attended.

You can simply click on the event that was posted and start talking about the event.

It is a great way for the event organizer to receive feedback as well. (back to top)

31. How do I post a Job on Hospitality Leaders?

Posting a job is a simple process. Click on the jobs section on the top navigation tool bar.

Click on the post a job link. From there, please fill out the following:

1.    Job Title
2.    Your company
3.    Country, City, State, and Zip code (if applicable)
4.    Job Description

32. How do I delete my profile and leave this site completely?
